Hi, good bike. Planning on touring? or are you going to lose the lunch box and trick it up a bit?

She's taking the place of my FX for the 65 mile commute every day :)

Keeping the 600 for the weekend blast, but this bird is also great at the weekend - she's a big girl but jesus ..she knows how to boogie

Two fab bikes either way -- I love them both

Good choice...not that I'm biased ;)

I had a CBR600F and a Blackbird at the same time until recently.

I used the 600 previously and then did some trackdays on it but it was obvious quite quickly that I didn't need both.

I'm personally a lot more comfortable on the 'bird. The 600 was a bit small for me. The 'bird is heavier but with a 6mm spacer on the rear shock and some familiarity you can throw it around easy enough. A weekend in Wales with R1's, a 675, a CBR600F, etc etc didn't have me trailing in the bends despite us having some real fun.

There's some great 'bird focussed forums around and loads on experience as it's been around for ever.

I'm sure you'll love it more and more
