You know how...

Like the supersonic spy jet from which it got its name, the Super Blackbird delivers an afterburner kick of truly earth-shattering performance that simply takes your breath away.

You know how...

Postby Iggy » Sat 28 Feb,2009 16:18

...I've always wanted a Blackbird...

Image

I collected this one this afternoon..

I was offered a deal I couldn't refuse and I got a good PX for my sick 600F.

It's an XX-5 with 20k on the clock and is in tip top nick. The rear tyre's a little squared off, but apart from that.. it's spot-on.. :)

(the oil underneath is from the sick 600f and not the new one.. )

I've been waiting a very long time though Scott.. and the right opportunity presented itself. :D

I'd only taken my 600F in to have the fork seals replaced..

Big enough to get my lunchbox in..

Each one will take a full face lid with a bit of room to spare. I wanted a bike with panniers so that I can leave my lid and riding gear in them if I end up working somewhere which doesn't have lockers for my kit.

I had a look on the Honda site last night to see what they're worth and the rail & boxes I've got are six hundred quid new.. :)

They come off in seconds too, so it'll be boxes on Monday to Friday.. Boxes off Saturday & Sunday..
