Slight emergency, please help! oil drain screw threaded??

Postby blinky » Tue 12 Apr,2016 14:09

the thread inside the engine i think has threaded somehow....

maybe i overtightened it? as when i was tightening it back up... i heard a sudden **SNAP** ....but i thoght over-tightening would only damage the washer surely not the inside!! arghhhh!

ive done oil changes on my hornet plenty of times, so i have no idea why this has happened.
the bike is reasonably old... 1994 cbr600 f2.... wear and tear?

im now stressing out, as this is my only transport, and i need it every day!

i am near to a car garage but bike places are too far... hmmm any quick fix so i can at least get over to a garage?
using a gasket to seal it better? (it is finger tight but still leaking oil)

how does one repair such damage? :dunno:

**crying on the inside**
